MACKENNA has had a passion for music since she was a toddler and continues to thrive in her craft today. Now 23, she is an experienced performer/songwriter/producer continuing to grow and explore her love and life of music.

 

Born and raised in New Jersey, she comes from an artistic family. Her great-grandfather was a drummer, her grandmother was a competitive singer, her mother used to be a professional singer, and multiple family members are visual artists. Her family is supportive of her artistic goals.

 

She got her start as a toddler by singing in the car with her mom. Reaching school age, she began participating in school choir and involved herself in theatre productions including The A-Train ("Vicki"), Into The Woods ("Jack's Mother"), The Wizard of Oz ("Aunt Em"), and more. She has competed in multiple talent competitions, including the International Presentation of Performers (IPOP 2019), in which she won 1st place for Teen Singing.

 

MACKENNA joined the Rockit Academy in Red Bank, NJ, for five years, gaining stage experience and enhancing her skills in a band setting of the Classic Rock genre. She also participated in competitive organized a cappella for 8 years of her life, starting from seventh grade, continuing through to being the Co-Music Director of On The Vox a cappella at Berklee College of Music in 2022.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music summa cum laude in May 2024, she has been songwriting for K-Pop and has released 3 singles and an EP of original music, out on all streaming platforms. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.​
